『はらぺこあおむし』の作者、エリック・カール氏*2が現地時間５月23日、マサチューセッツ州の自宅にて腎不全のため逝去。享年91歳。
エリック・カールといえば、どうしても『はらぺこあおむし』ということになる。でも、1992年に上梓されたDraw Me a Starを挙げておきたいな。家族のメッセージ；
