倫敦のサウスワーク刑事法院の陪審は、役者のケヴィン・スペイシー*1が４人の男性に対する性的暴行容疑で起訴されている件を巡って、起訴されていた全ての罪状に対して無罪の評決を行った。何故米国人のスペイシーが英国で裁判を受けているのかといえば、彼が2004年から2015年まで倫敦のオールド・ヴィック劇場の藝術監督を務めていたことによる。
さて、ケヴィン・スペイシーは米国でも性的暴行を巡る刑事・民事の裁判の被告になってきたが、（今のところ）全ての裁判に勝っているのだった。
