金正男殺しを巡っては既に４人が逮捕されているが、マレーシア警察当局はさらに４人の容疑者（男性）が逃亡中であることを明らかにし、その年齢や顔写真などを公表した。彼らはみな北朝鮮国籍であり、既にマレーシアから出国している。ただ、当局は、何処にいるのかについての言明は拒否している。

　マカオ警察がマレーシアで殺害された金正男（キムジョンナム）氏の家族を保護したことが明らかになった。身の安全が懸念されるためとしている。香港紙サウスチャイナ・モーニングポストが伝えた。
　北朝鮮の最高指導者の後継者争いから脱落した後、正男氏はマカオで暮らすようになり、家族には、妻もしくは愛人とされる女性や子供がいたとされる。家族が住んでいたとみられるマンションはマカオに二つあり、事件後、警察官はこの２カ所の付近も巡回し、警備を強化している。
　マカオ警察は声明を出し、「住民や旅行客の安全確保に力を尽くすが、個別事件についてはコメントしない」としている。（マカオ＝益満雄一郎）
