エミー賞を8回受賞し、「天空の城ラピュタ」の英語版では、ドーラ役の吹替を担当しました。ご冥福をお祈りします。

女優のクロリス・リーチマン*1が老衰のため、カリフォルニア州エンシニタス*2の自宅で逝去。享年94歳。
彼女の女優としての代表作はピーター・ボグダノヴィッチの『ラスト・ショー』とメル・ブルックスの『ヤング・フランケンシュタイン』*3ということなのだが、ジョージ・ロイ・ヒルの『明日に向かって撃て』*4にも出演しているんだ！
