巴里のテロ以上の惨事だよ。
モザンビーク東北部のTete省で、或る葬式の参列者に振る舞われた「麦酒」に「鰐の胆汁（crocodile bile）」が混ぜられ、56名が死亡し、49名が入院した。

Pombe, a traditional Mozambican beer, is made from millet or corn flour. Authorities believe that the drink was poisoned with crocodile bile during the course of the funeral.

Blood and traditional beer samples were being sent to the capital Maputo to be tested, said provincial health director Carle Mosse. “We don’t have the capacity to test the samples,” she told Radio Mozambique.

死亡したり入院したりしたのは「午後」に飲んだ人たちで、「午前中」に飲んだ人たちは何ともなかったという。
ところで、記事には「鰐の胆汁」の毒性に関する記述或いはリンクが全然ないのだ。「鰐の胆汁」が毒だというのはほぼ常識に属することなの？　鰐の肉って、淡泊で低アレルゲンだともいわれ、好んで食べる人も少なくないと思うけど、鰐肉を料理するには（河豚の調理の如く）胆汁による汚染を厳重に防がなければいけないのだろうか。
