ZEPの４枚目、「天国への階段」が収録されている、アルバム*1がリマスタリングされて再発されるんだね；

That fourth album is rereleased in remastered form on 27 October (alongside Houses of the Holy), with a deluxe edition that features a disc of alternate versions of the album’s eight tracks. We’re delighted to be able to bring you the first track from that companion disc here – the basic track of Black Dog, with guitar overdubs. Have a listen and let us know what you think.

リマスタリングということよりもアルバム全曲の別ヴァージョンが別ディスクで収録されるということの方が魅力的ではある。
さて、つい最近バーブラ・ストライサンドに言及したのだが*2、上記のZEPのアルバムと略同時期にバーブラ・ストライサンドの豪華写真集Barbra: Streisand's Early Years in Hollywood, 1968-1976が刊行されるという；

Never before seen photographs of Barbra Streisand, captured during her earliest years in Hollywood, are to be published in a new book.
Barbra: Streisand's Early Years in Hollywood, 1968-1976 features more than 240 images taken by the US photojournalists Steve Schapiro and Lawrence Schiller, both of whom were commissioned to work with Streisand after she arrived in Hollywood. Only 1,000 copies of the collector's edition, costing $750 (£455) each, are being printed. For dedicated fans with even deeper pockets, there are two "art editions" which are limited to 100 copies at $1,800 each.

The book, available only through the publisher Taschen from November*3, covers her life from Funny Girl in 1968 to A Star Is Born in 1976. "Through it all a picture emerges not of a singer who could act, but of an actress who could sing, write, direct, dance and do just about anything she put her mind to," said Taschen.

Schapiro worked on more than 200 films in Hollywood, including Midnight Cowboy and Taxi Driver. Schiller is a photographer, a film producer, director and screenwriter, whose collaborations include Norman Mailer's The Executioner's Song.
