Webb Johnson氏は桑港公共図書館にF Hopkinson Smith という作家の1909年に上梓されたForty Minutes Lateを返却した。実は、この本は彼の曾祖母Phoebe Johnsonが1917年に借り出したものだった。One century late!
ところで、米国の初代大統領ジョージ・ワシントン*1が1789年にNew York Society Libraryから借り出して、そのまま未返却状態になっていた本がNew York Society Libraryの地下室*2で1934年に発見されたということが起こっている;
