さて、被害の最も酷いアマトリーチェは「アマトリチャーナ」というパスタ料理*2の発祥の地である。羅馬在住のフード・ブロガー Paul Bell氏は、世界中のイタリアン・レストランに対して、アマトリチャーナ１皿毎に２ユーロを被災者への義捐金として寄付しようと呼び掛けている。現在伊太利国内で600軒以上のレストランがこのキャンペーンに参加している；
