ストーン・テンプル・パイロッツ*1のヴォーカリストだったScott Weiland*2 が米国ミネソタ州ブルーミントンにて死去。彼は2013年に自らが創設したSTPを追放された後、The Wildaboutsというバンドを結成して活動しており、今回の客死はThe Wildaboutsの全米ツアーの途上で起きた。彼は長年ヘロインとアルコールの依存症を患っていたが、死との因果関係はわからない。死は睡眠中に訪れた。尚、３月にはThe WildaboutsのギタリストJeremy Brownが34歳で亡くなっている*3。
ストーン・テンプル・パイロッツということで、ZEPの「踊る日々」のカヴァーをマークしておく*4。
