ピンク・フロイドの1994年のThe Division Bell以来20年ぶりとなるアルバムThe Endless Riverが11月10日にリリースされる。このアルバムは2008年に逝去したキーボード・プレイヤー、リチャード・ライト *1へのトリビュートであり、全18曲のうち17曲はインストゥルメンタル・ナンバーである。 18歳の埃及人デザイナー、Ahmed Emad Eldin*2によるジャケットのアート・ワークも公開されている*3。なお、昨年亡くなったStorm Thorgerson*4がアート・ワークに関わっていないピンク・フロイドのアルバムはデビュー・アルバムのThe Piper at the Gates of Dawn*5以来。
