文中でcornerという動詞が使われているが、要するに、追いかけまわして、コーナーに追い詰めたということだ。これでは、ビョークさんが切れるのも無理はない。ジェフリーというカメラマンも一躍セレブになったことだし、せいぜい〈ビョークがひっちゃぶったＴシャツ〉をオークションに出して、儲けるのがいいとは思う。
According to one of Björk’s closes associates in Iceland, Einar Örn Benediktsson, no statement from her is expected, Fréttabladid reports.Benediktsson said he had spoken to Björk about the incident and said Jeffery’s version of the story is a simplification. The photographer had apparently followed Björk and the manager of her tour around the airport and not respected their wishes about not being photographed. In the end Jeffery had cornered Björk.
“And when people have been cornered after a 27-hour flight between Iceland and New Zealand they have simply had enough,” Benediktsson said.
