４月16日、新西蘭で「空飛ぶスパゲティ･モンスター教会（Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster=CFSM）」*1の様式に則った、世界最初のPastafarian weddingが執り行われた。新西蘭でCFSMは2015年に公認宗教としてのステイタスが認められ、「法的な結婚を執行する」ことが可能となった。
