現地時間９月15日午前、倫敦のパーソンズ・グリーン地下鉄駅*1で爆発があった。ちょうど通勤ラッシュ時間だったために、多くの負傷者が出た。警察当局は既にこの爆発を「テロ」として認定している。容疑者はまだ捕まっていない。また、（管見の限り）恒例のISISによる犯行声明はまだ出ていないようだ。
倫敦の地下鉄におけるテロということだと、2015年12月に「レイトンストーン地下鉄駅で、ナイフを持った男が”This is for Syria”と叫びながら、通行人を襲撃し、１名が重傷、もう１名が軽傷を負った」という事件があった*2。今回は、そのときとは被害や衝撃において比べ物にならないだろう。ナイフと爆弾の差異。
