ジャクソン・ブラウン*1のStanding in the Breach。Moises Seman*2の写真（瓦礫の中を逃げ惑う男女二人）を使用したジャケットが今までジャクソン・ブラウンの音楽に対してぼんやりと抱いていたイメージとかけ離れていたので吃驚した。ヘヴィ・メタルのアルバムみたい！ でも、実際の音は紛れもなくジャクソン・ブラウンのものだった。但し、歌詞はジャケット写真に見合う重たいものを含んでいる。例えば、”Leaving Winslow”の最後のヴァース；
表題作”Standing in the Breach*3は重さの中にも希望があるか。例えば、
