TLで突如ベイ・シティ・ローラーズが突出してきたので、いったい何事なのだと思ったのだけど、ベイ・シティ・ローラーズのヴォーカリスト、レスリー・マッコーエン*1が４月20日に急死。享年65歳。但し、死因は不詳。
私と同世代の女子では、箪笥の奥のタータン・チェックとともに、自らの青春時代の記憶がよきことも悪しきこともひっくるめて甦ってしまったという人も少なくないのではないか。
因みに、BCRのメンバーでは、2018年にドラマーのアラン・ロングミュアが*2、昨年にはベーシストのイアン・ミッチェルが鬼籍に入っている*3。
