王銘銘『西方作為他者』*1の第1章「再思”西方”」は、1866年に斌椿ら一行が清朝の使節として欧州に渡り、欧州を見聞する話から始まっている。斌椿らは上海から仏蘭西の汽船「拉布得内号」に乗り込んだのだが、「拉布得内号」は仏蘭西語では何というのか。今のところ、Googleでも百度でもわからない。但し、副産物として、清朝末期の外交に関する２つのテクストを見つける；
