Ari Levy “Baidu's CFO dies in accident” Shanghai Daily 2 January 2008
中国の代表的なサーチ・エンジンである百度（BAIDU.COM Inc）*1のCFOであるShawn Wang（王湛生）氏が昨年12月27日に中国国内で事故死。事故の詳細は明らかにされていない。この死を承けて、12月31日に百度の株価は紐育のナスダックにて2.3%下落した。百度は”the only Chinese mainland company in the index, which consists of the 100 biggest non-financial companies by market value listed on the Nasdaq”である。また、百度の中国国内におけるサーチ・エンジンとしてのシェアは61％（Googleは21％）。
