ぱらぱら捲ってみると、所謂〈映画的ハルマゲドン〉大全みたいな本であるらしい。目次を見てもわかるように、nukeとかatomの影が全体を覆っているようだ。勿論、核と映画ということで、『ゴジラ』以来の日本の怪獣映画（第５章）、『はだしのゲン』に至る日本の原爆映画の系譜（第２章）も詳しく論じられているようだ。
