香港を拠点とするNGOであるChi Feng Foundationは既に上海でゲイの人々のためのホットラインを開設していたが、”overloaded with calls from people all over the mainland and even overseas”のため、昨年閉鎖を余儀なくされていた。この度、上海及び広州を拠点として、the ”first national free hotline offering advice to gay people on a range of subjects”として再開された。電話番号は800-988-1929である。”advice on psychological problems, legal issues and HIV/AIDS”を行う。また、”Most of the volunteers have bachelor or master’s degrees in medicine, psychology, law or sociology. They have all been given specific training for their roles.” 時間はウィークデイは午後７〜９時、土曜日は４〜９時、日曜日は３〜６時。
